Chemistry

This is the story of how materials are made up from atoms.Structure determines not only the appearance of materials, but also their properties.
An atom is very small. Its mass is between 10-21 and 10-23g. A row of 107 atoms (10,000,000 atoms) extends only 1.0 mm.
An atom is the smallest particle of an element and made up of Electrons, Protons, Neutrons.
The British physicist Ernest Rutherford, winner of the 1908 Nobel Prize in chemistry, pioneered the field of nuclear physics with his experimental research.
Let's enhance our knowledge about atomic structure through this presentation.
In the early nineteenth century, an English chemist Dalton stated clearly his ideas regarding atoms. He was the first person to give out atomic theory in 1803. This theory is known as Dalton's Atomic Theory.
The compounds of carbon( except the oxides of carbon, carbonates, hydrogen carbonates and carbides) are called organic compounds.
This is the time to know about carbon cycle.
This presentation is about chemical bond such as covalent bond, ionic bond etc.
Atoms combine to form compounds so as to attain stable nearest rare gas configuration.
The important chemical industries: Petroleum industries, Soap industries, Match industries, Fertilizers industries, Composition of L.P.G
The photographer regulates the f-stop opening and time of exposure of her camera to match the sensitivity of film.
When atoms tend to attain octet arrangement by sharing, a bond will be formed between the sharing atoms. This type of bonding is called covalent bonding.
Every element can exist in three states. That is as a solid, liquid and vapour states. Which are mostly depended on it's temperature. This applies to water, too. So water can be found as ice, water and steam.
Water is made up of one molecule of oxygen and two molecules of Hydrogen i.e. H2O .
The concept of learning here is to know that water is made up of Hydrogen and Oxygen.
Matter in the liquid state has a definite state but no definite shape. Liquids take up the shape of the vessel in which they are put.
Iron does not occur in the native state as it is oxidized easily. Iron in elemental state occurs in meteorites. Iron is an important of hamoglobin of blood. Iron is also present plant and animal tissues.
The ore of Iron is Hematite because it is found abundantly on the earth crust, more over the percentage of iron is greater in Hematite than any other minerals.
Iron is a chemical element with the symbol Fe (L.: Ferrum) and atomic number 26. Iron is a group 8 and period 4 metal.
Iron is the most important metal among the transition elements. Also it is the most abundantly produced metal now a days.
The aim of the project is to know how iron is extracted from its ore.
The accurate prediction of an ore’s downstream processing performance is critical to resource evaluation and development decisions.
Iron does not occur in the native state as it is oxidized easily. Iron in elemental state occurs in meteorites. Iron is an important constituent of hemoglobin of blood.
Food adulteration is defined as ‘the intentional addition of non-permitted foreign matter’.
The halogens are five non-metallic elements found in group 7 of the periodic table. The term "halogen" means "salt-former" and compounds containing halogens are called "salts".
Objective of this project is to distinguish between saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbon.
Objective of the project is to distinguish between saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbon. Let's go for it.
Hydrocarbons, in organic chemistry, family of organic compounds, composed entirely of carbon and hydrogen.
Hydrogen was discovered in 1766 by Cavendish he also proved that it is an element. Lavoisier named it as hydrogen. The world hydrogen means “ water generating gas”.’
Atoms are made up of extremely small particles called Neutrons, Protons and Electrons.
Iron is a very useful thing. We use Iron in many work. In Iron we made many types 0f things. Iron is also in our body cells. Iron is the most hardest thing in the world.
Methane molecule consists of one carbon and four hydrogen atoms (CH4).It is the major constituent of natural gas. Natural gas contains 94.6% methane.
Let's learn about nitrogen cycle.
Phosphorus (P) is an essential element classified as a macronutrient because of the relatively large amounts of P required by plants. Phosphorus is one of the three nutrients generally added to soils in fertilizers.
(Gr. phosphorous, light bearing; ancient name for the planet Venus when appearing before sunrise) Brand discovered phosphorus in 1669 by preparing it from urine.
Phosphorous is a non metal placed inVA group of periodic table . Its atomic number is 15.it exhibits valency 3,5.
A chemical change is called a chemical reaction.
